Bacchanal 21: Farewell to the Flowers

BACCHANAL 21: FAREWELL TO THE FLOWERS
Send off summer in style! The ancient Aztecs celebrated Xochiquetzal, or "Goddess of the Flowering Earth," during the Farewell to the Flowers festival. They enjoyed a great feast, performed ritualistic dances, and inhaled the sweet scents of flowers that would soon wither away with the coming frost.

Co-chairs Khalilah Birdsong and Keith Radford invite you to indulge, dance, and feast to benefit the Carlos Museum on September 20, 2014.
