School Programs

The Carlos Museum is committed to making the study of material culture a part of every student's educational experience. Through tours of the museum's permanent collections and special exhibitions, students are introduced to the stories of civilization through the study of museum objects and the cultures that produced them, helping them to develop a more complex understanding of the forces that shaped the world in which they live. Through professional learning classes, workshops, and educational materials teachers are encouraged to expand their knowledge and discover methods of incorporating object-centered learning into the curriculum.
